Welcome to “Around the World in 18 Musicals”. Many of you will be familiar with Jules Verne’s novel “Around the World in 80 Days” – perhaps through its film version starring David Niven. In Verne’s story, a Victorian traveller, Phileas Fogg, accepts a bet (made by friends at the Reform Club) that he can’t travel the world in 80 days. He takes with him his manservant, Passepartout.

In our version, his cousin, Frivolous Fogg, accepts a bet at the Reform Club that he can’t travel the world and collect songs from 18 different musicals. He takes with him his manservant, Pass-the-Port.
